Corrections
What counts as a correction
A correction changes technical meaning, compatibility, calculation, safety, diagnosis, source interpretation, or a reader’s likely decision. Punctuation-only changes are not substantive corrections.
Correction process
- Identify the exact disputed claim, example, or diagram.
- Recheck the applicable source, assumptions, revision, and test fixture.
- Block affected material when the error could cause harm.
- Correct shared data or diagram fixtures as well as prose.
- Record a dated summary after validation.
